PS JAITPUR: A Rural Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

Located in the Mohmadabad block of Farrukhabad district in Uttar Pradesh, PS JAITPUR is a government-run primary school that has been serving the local community since 1991. The school is situated in a rural area and provides education for students from grades 1 to 5.

A Co-educational Institution with a Focus on Hindi

PS JAITPUR is a co-educational institution, catering to both boys and girls. While it does not have a pre-primary section, it offers instruction in Hindi, making it accessible to students from diverse backgrounds. The school boasts a dedicated library with a collection of 100 books, encouraging a love for reading among its students.

Infrastructure and Facilities

The school building is in good condition and comprises four classrooms for teaching. There are also two additional rooms dedicated to non-teaching activities, ensuring a conducive learning environment. Though it lacks a boundary wall, the school provides access to clean drinking water through hand pumps.

Focus on Health and Hygiene

To ensure the well-being of its students, PS JAITPUR has separate functional toilets for boys and girls. However, the school does not have a playground for recreational activities. This lack of outdoor space might be a concern for students who rely on physical activity for learning and development.

A Need for Improvement

Despite the presence of a library and other basic facilities, PS JAITPUR faces some challenges. The school currently does not have electricity or computers, which limits its ability to incorporate modern technology into the curriculum. While the school offers a mid-day meal program prepared within the school premises, the absence of ramps for disabled children raises accessibility concerns.

Looking Ahead

While PS JAITPUR provides essential education to students in the rural community, its infrastructure and resources could be improved. Access to electricity, computers, and a playground would enhance the learning experience and provide more opportunities for students to thrive. Investing in these improvements would be crucial to ensuring a more equitable and engaging learning environment for the children of PS JAITPUR.
