P.S.SARAI DADIRA: A Rural Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

P.S.SARAI DADIRA, a government-run primary school located in the rural area of BHITAURA block, FATEHPUR district, Uttar Pradesh, has been educating children since 1973. This co-educational institution caters to students in grades 1 to 5, providing a crucial foundation for their academic journey.

The school building, though constructed by the government, has limited facilities. While there are 4 classrooms in good condition, the school lacks a functional electricity connection. The lack of electricity, however, doesn’t impede learning, as the school utilizes hand pumps for drinking water, a vital necessity.

Despite the limited resources, P.S.SARAI DADIRA strives to provide a conducive learning environment for its students. It boasts a library, a playground, and a separate room for the headmaster/teacher. The school prioritizes hygiene and sanitation with one functional boys’ toilet and one functional girls’ toilet.

P.S.SARAI DADIRA has 3 teachers, 2 male and 1 female, dedicated to imparting knowledge to the students. The medium of instruction is Hindi, ensuring that students are taught in their native language.

While the school has a playground for physical activity, it lacks computer-aided learning facilities. The lack of computers and the absence of a computer lab highlights a gap in access to modern technology for students.

The school’s management, under the Department of Education, focuses on providing essential facilities and ensuring a safe learning environment for its students. This commitment is evident in the provision of a mid-day meal, prepared within the school premises, that complements the learning experience.

Despite the challenges, P.S.SARAI DADIRA plays a vital role in the community. It provides quality education to children in the rural area, fostering their intellectual growth and contributing to the overall development of the region.

The school’s dedicated staff and the community’s support are crucial in overcoming the limitations and creating a conducive learning environment for the students. As the school continues to grow, it aims to improve its facilities, adapt to evolving educational needs, and ensure that its students receive the best possible education.
