With two classrooms, the school is equipped with basic amenities such as a library, a single boys’ toilet, and a single girls’ toilet.

The school primarily offers instruction in the Odia language, and boasts a library containing 192 books. Water is supplied through hand pumps, while the school building itself is constructed of pucca materials, albeit with some structural damage.

Nandijhari PS is overseen by the Department of Education and is managed by a team of two teachers. Both male teachers are dedicated to providing quality education to the students.

While the school lacks modern amenities like computer-aided learning and electricity, it strives to provide a basic educational foundation for the children. It does not offer pre-primary classes nor is it a residential school. Additionally, the school does not have a playground, and ramps for disabled students are absent.

Despite these limitations, Nandijhari PS plays a crucial role in providing access to primary education within the local community. It emphasizes the importance of education in a rural setting, fostering a foundation for learning and development.

The school’s commitment to providing basic education is further highlighted by the fact that meals are prepared and provided on the school premises, ensuring that students have access to nutritious meals while learning.

Furthermore, the school offers a unique aspect in its affiliation with the “Others” board for Class 10 and Class 10+2, suggesting a focus on alternative educational pathways.

Nandijhari PS, despite its modest resources, stands as a beacon of education in the rural community of Odisha. It plays a vital role in nurturing young minds, contributing to the overall educational landscape of the region.
