MANASU LOWER PRIMARY SCHOOL NARINHAL: A Rural School Focused on Basic Education

Located in the KUSTAGI block of KOPPAL district in Karnataka, MANASU LOWER PRIMARY SCHOOL NARINHAL stands as a testament to the commitment to basic education in rural India. Established in 2015, this Pvt. Unaided school provides primary education to children from Class 1 to Class 5. The school’s focus on accessibility is evident through its all-weather road approach and its provision of drinking water via a functional tap.

The school, housed in a rented building, boasts six well-maintained classrooms, ensuring a conducive learning environment for students. While it lacks a playground, the school prioritizes basic amenities like a functional boys’ and girls’ toilet, signifying its dedication to student well-being.

MANASU LOWER PRIMARY SCHOOL NARINHAL’s commitment to inclusive education is reflected in its provision of ramps for disabled children, ensuring equal access to classrooms. The school, however, does not offer pre-primary classes or a pre-primary section.

Instruction at the school is conducted entirely in Kannada, catering to the local linguistic needs of the community. The school’s faculty comprises one male teacher, emphasizing the importance of qualified educators in shaping young minds.

The school currently lacks an electricity connection, which might hinder access to digital learning resources. It also does not have a library or computers, further limiting the potential for technology-aided learning. While a computer-aided learning lab and a library would be valuable additions, the school’s focus on basic education within its resource limitations is commendable.

Despite the absence of a midday meal program, the school’s provision of functional toilets and accessible ramps underscores its commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for its students.

MANASU LOWER PRIMARY SCHOOL NARINHAL’s dedication to providing primary education in a rural setting, despite resource limitations, is a beacon of hope for the local community. The school’s focus on basic education, accessibility, and inclusivity sets an example for other rural schools striving to empower children with knowledge and opportunities.
