This co-educational school provides education for students from Class 1 to Class 5, with a focus on Odia as the primary language of instruction. Established in 1980, the school caters to the educational needs of the local community, offering a safe and supportive learning environment for young students.

Despite being a rural school, DUMURIPUT PS boasts a library with over 60 books, catering to the reading and learning needs of its students. While the school lacks computer-aided learning facilities and electricity, it does offer a basic infrastructure with two classrooms, one boys’ toilet, and one girls’ toilet. Interestingly, despite the lack of a playground, the school provides ramps for students with disabilities, highlighting its commitment to inclusivity.

DUMURIPUT PS is managed by the Department of Education and currently has one male teacher, who is responsible for educating all the students. The school operates as a day school, offering a meal program where food is prepared and served on-site, ensuring students have access to nutritious meals. The lack of pre-primary classes indicates that the school primarily serves students in the primary school age group.

The school’s academic focus is solely on primary education, offering instruction for grades 1 to 5. While the school has a library with a modest collection, it does not currently have computer facilities or internet access, which might pose a challenge in the current digital age. The lack of electricity also poses a hurdle in implementing modern teaching methods and resources.

Despite these challenges, DUMURIPUT PS remains a vital resource for the community, providing a crucial platform for education in a rural setting. The school’s commitment to providing a safe, inclusive learning environment for its students is commendable, and the presence of a library and accessible facilities demonstrate its dedication to promoting knowledge and growth among its students.

However, the school’s commitment to offering quality education to its students is evident through its basic infrastructure, library, and accessible facilities.
