BAGHUASOLE UPS (TO): A Rural Upper Primary School in Odisha

Nestled in the rural heart of Odisha, BAGHUASOLE UPS (TO) is an Upper Primary school offering education to students from classes 6 to 7. Established in 1978, the school operates under the management of the Department of Education and caters to both male and female students, making it a co-educational institution.

The school boasts a modest infrastructure with two classrooms and a library housing an impressive 93 books. While lacking a playground, the school provides essential facilities like ramps for disabled students and a girls’ toilet. However, it lacks essential amenities like electricity, a boundary wall, and a computer-aided learning facility.

Despite the absence of a computer lab, BAGHUASOLE UPS (TO) offers a robust academic curriculum, primarily delivered in Odia. The school is equipped with two dedicated teachers, one male and one female, who work diligently under the leadership of Head Teacher JAYANTA KUMAR GHOSH.

The school’s commitment to its students is further evident in the provision of meals, prepared and provided within the school premises. This ensures that students have access to nourishing food, promoting their overall well-being.

The school’s location in a rural area highlights the critical role it plays in providing quality education to the local community. The absence of a pre-primary section, coupled with the lack of a dedicated playground, underscores the need for further development and resources to enhance the school’s overall facilities.

The school follows the curriculum prescribed by the ‘Others’ board for Class 10th, demonstrating its commitment to providing a comprehensive educational experience.

Despite the challenges it faces, BAGHUASOLE UPS (TO) remains dedicated to its mission of providing quality education to the students in its community. The school’s commitment to its students, combined with its dedicated teachers and accessible location, makes it a valuable asset to the rural community it serves.

As the school continues to operate, it is hoped that it will receive the necessary support and resources to further enhance its infrastructure and provide even more opportunities for its students to thrive.
