UPS JABBARI PUR: A Rural Upper Primary School in Rae Bareli

UPS JABBARI PUR, located in the Unchahar block of Rae Bareli district in Uttar Pradesh, is a government-run upper primary school serving students from grades 6 to 8. Established in 2007, the school operates in a rural setting and provides education to both boys and girls, making it a co-educational institution.

The school building, constructed with government funds, houses three classrooms in good condition. These classrooms are equipped for effective instruction, and the school also features two additional rooms for non-teaching activities. Notably, the school boasts a library containing 140 books, offering valuable resources for students.

While UPS JABBARI PUR doesn’t have a pre-primary section or a playground, it provides essential facilities such as separate boys’ and girls’ toilets, both in functional condition. Hand pumps provide drinking water for students and staff.

The school prioritizes quality education, evident in its dedication to providing a mid-day meal for all students. This meal is prepared and served within the school premises, ensuring a nutritious and convenient dining experience. The school’s dedicated team of five teachers, comprising three males and two females, actively contribute to delivering a comprehensive curriculum. Hindi serves as the primary language of instruction, fostering a strong foundation in the local language.

Despite the school’s focus on providing a well-rounded educational experience, certain aspects require attention. The school lacks a boundary wall for security and, unfortunately, lacks functional electricity. The absence of computers and a computer-aided learning lab limits the accessibility of modern educational tools. Furthermore, the school is not equipped with ramps, potentially hindering the accessibility of students with disabilities.

UPS JABBARI PUR, a beacon of education in the rural landscape, demonstrates a commitment to providing quality education to its students. However, the school’s infrastructural limitations highlight the need for further development to enhance its educational offerings and create a more conducive learning environment for all students.
