SUNDERPUR P.S is a government-run primary school located in the rural district of Odisha. Established in 1978, the school offers education for students from Class 1 to Class 5, focusing on Odia as the medium of instruction. The school is co-educational and features a well-stocked library with over 117 books, catering to the academic needs of its students.

The school building, though lacking a boundary wall, provides a safe and secure environment for learning. It boasts two classrooms, equipped with basic facilities like a drinking water source (hand pumps) and separate toilets for boys and girls. The school’s commitment to the well-being of its students is further emphasized by the provision of meals prepared on school premises.

Despite not having electricity or computer-aided learning facilities, SUNDERPUR P.S focuses on delivering quality primary education. The school boasts a dedicated team of two teachers, including two female teachers. This small staff, however, is highly committed to providing a comprehensive learning experience for their students.

The school’s commitment to providing a safe and accessible learning environment is evident in the absence of ramps for the disabled. However, the school’s rural location, coupled with its focus on basic primary education, suggests a possible lack of resources for such additions.

The school’s affiliation with the Department of Education and its reliance on Odia as the primary language of instruction reflects the local context and the educational needs of the community it serves. The school’s focus on basic primary education, while lacking advanced facilities, ensures that students from the rural areas have access to quality education and a solid foundation for future academic pursuits.

SUNDERPUR P.S serves as a beacon of hope for rural communities in Odisha, providing access to quality education for young minds. The school’s dedication to providing basic education, despite limited resources, is a testament to its commitment to the future of its students.

The school’s commitment to providing a basic education, even with limited resources, demonstrates the vital role of primary schools in rural communities.
