INDAROI P.S: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

Nestled in the rural landscape of Odisha, INDAROI P.S is a government-run primary school serving the local community. Established in 1958, the school provides education for children from Class 1 to Class 5, adhering to the Odia language as the primary medium of instruction.

While the school does not offer pre-primary education, it caters to both boys and girls in a co-educational environment. The school building features four classrooms, equipped with basic amenities like drinking water provided by hand pumps, and separate toilets for boys and girls. The school also boasts a library with a collection of 70 books and a designated playground for children.

Unfortunately, INDAROI P.S lacks access to electricity and a boundary wall, but its dedicated team of three teachers strives to provide a quality education to the students. The school operates under the management of the Department of Education, providing meals to students on school premises.

INDAROI P.S is a vital resource for the community, offering education to children from nearby villages. The school’s focus on providing a conducive learning environment, combined with a dedicated team of teachers, creates a foundation for the students’ future success.

The school’s presence is particularly important in a rural area where access to education can be limited. The dedication of the teachers and the availability of essential facilities like a library and playground are valuable assets that support the holistic development of students.

While the lack of certain facilities, like electricity and a boundary wall, presents challenges, the school administration is committed to improving infrastructure and providing a better learning environment for students.
