The school building, while classified as “Pucca But Broken,” houses three classrooms in good condition. Additionally, there are two rooms dedicated to non-teaching activities, including a dedicated space for the headmaster or teacher. The school has a well-maintained well as its source of drinking water, ensuring a safe and accessible water supply for students.

Focusing on Basic Education

PS SAHU TOLA primarily focuses on providing basic education to children from the local community. The medium of instruction is Hindi, reflecting the regional language. The school has two dedicated teachers, one male and one female, ensuring a balanced approach to education.

Despite being in a rural setting, the school prioritizes sanitation with functional toilets for both boys and girls. The presence of a library, though containing no books currently, indicates a commitment to promoting reading and learning beyond the classroom. While the school does not have computers, it offers a midday meal program, providing nutritional support to its students.

A School with Growth Potential

The lack of electricity, computers, and a playground represents areas where the school could benefit from further investment. The absence of a computer-aided learning lab limits access to modern educational resources. However, the presence of ramps for disabled children demonstrates a commitment to inclusivity.

PS SAHU TOLA stands as a testament to the commitment of providing basic education to children in rural areas. With dedicated teachers and a focus on sanitation and well-being, the school lays a foundation for the future learning journeys of its students. While lacking some modern resources, the school’s dedication to providing a safe and conducive learning environment makes it a valuable resource for the local community. As it continues to serve its students, PS SAHU TOLA has the potential to grow and evolve to meet the changing needs of the 21st century.
