The school building, constructed by the government, features two classrooms, all in good condition, and two additional rooms for non-teaching activities. It also has a separate room for the headmaster or teacher. While the school is surrounded by a partial boundary wall, it lacks electricity. However, students have access to drinking water through functional hand pumps.

PS MAKKE prioritizes accessibility and inclusivity. It boasts a playground for recreational activities and a library with 20 books for students to explore. The school also has one functional boys’ toilet and one functional girls’ toilet, ensuring the well-being of all students.

PS MAKKE offers a co-educational environment, catering to students of both genders. The school does not have an attached pre-primary section, but it prioritizes providing a conducive learning environment for primary school students.

Hindi is the primary language of instruction, aligning with the local community’s needs. The school is readily accessible throughout the year, as it is connected by an all-weather road. The academic year commences in April, following the typical Indian school calendar.

The school boasts a dedicated teaching staff. Although there are currently no female teachers, two male teachers provide instruction to the students. The school does not have any contract teachers, and its management is overseen by the Tribal/Social Welfare Department.

Despite the school’s commitment to education, it faces some challenges. Currently, PS MAKKE does not have any computers or a computer-aided learning lab. While the school provides and prepares midday meals for the students, there are no facilities for residential students.

Despite its limitations, PS MAKKE is a vital resource for the local community. The school’s dedicated staff strives to provide a quality education for all students, empowering them to reach their full potential.
