PS BAREHTI: A Rural Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

PS BAREHTI is a government-run primary school located in the Barehti village of Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1962, the school serves students from Class 1 to Class 5, offering a primary education in Hindi. It is a co-educational institution, catering to both boys and girls.

The school boasts two classrooms, equipped with essential facilities for learning. Toilets for both boys and girls are available within the school premises. While the school lacks a boundary wall, it does have a playground and a source of drinking water - hand pumps. The school has also made provisions for students with disabilities by providing ramps.

PS BAREHTI is staffed by two teachers: one male and one female. These teachers are responsible for providing instruction to the students, who are primarily from rural backgrounds.

While the school is not residential, it provides meals to its students, ensuring their nutritional needs are met. However, PS BAREHTI does not have a computer-aided learning system or a library.

Although the school is connected to the electricity grid, it currently lacks a functional connection. This poses a challenge for using electronic learning tools or even providing adequate lighting in the evening hours.

Despite the limitations, PS BAREHTI plays a crucial role in providing basic education to children in the Barehti village. It serves as a foundation for their future learning and development.

PS BAREHTI, with its focus on providing essential facilities and nurturing learning, stands as a testament to the importance of education in shaping a brighter future for children from rural communities.
