PRY. SCH. BAKWA: A Rural School Nurturing Young Minds in Uttar Pradesh

Located in the BHARAWAN block of HARDOI district in Uttar Pradesh, PRY. SCH. BAKWA stands as a beacon of education for children in a rural setting. Established in 1988 and managed by the Department of Education, this primary school provides education to students from Class 1 to Class 5.

The school’s infrastructure includes two classrooms, all in good condition, ensuring a conducive learning environment for its students. Although the school is housed in a rent-free building, it lacks a boundary wall for added security. While electricity is available, it is currently not functional, presenting a challenge for the school’s operations.

Despite these limitations, PRY. SCH. BAKWA strives to provide quality education to its students. The school boasts a library stocked with 65 books, offering valuable resources for learning. A playground provides space for physical activity and social interaction, contributing to the holistic development of the students.

The school’s dedicated teaching staff consists of two male teachers and three female teachers, ensuring a diverse learning environment. Hindi serves as the medium of instruction, catering to the local language needs of the students. The school also provides a mid-day meal program, “Provided and Prepared in School Premises,” ensuring that students have access to nutritious food.

Access to clean water is paramount for any school, and PRY. SCH. BAKWA prioritizes this by providing functional hand pumps for drinking water. Furthermore, the school has separate functional toilet facilities for both boys and girls, promoting hygiene and sanitation.

While the school does not have computers or a computer-aided learning lab, it emphasizes the importance of traditional learning methods. The absence of a pre-primary section, combined with the school’s “N/A” nature, indicates its focus on providing primary education within a rural setting.

Despite the absence of some modern amenities, PRY. SCH. BAKWA remains a valuable educational institution for the community. Its dedicated staff and emphasis on traditional learning methods contribute to the overall development of its students, fostering a strong foundation for their future academic journeys.
