P.V. TIBBA PANJAB GHAT: A Government Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

Located in the rural area of PURANPUR block, PILIBHIT district in Uttar Pradesh, P.V. TIBBA PANJAB GHAT is a government-run primary school established in 2005. This co-educational school provides education for students in grades 1 through 5, catering to the needs of the local community.

The school’s infrastructure includes three classrooms in good condition, ensuring an adequate learning environment for its students. While the school does not have an attached pre-primary section, it offers a library with a collection of 130 books, promoting reading and learning. The school also boasts a playground, providing opportunities for physical activity and recreation.

P.V. TIBBA PANJAB GHAT emphasizes the importance of basic amenities. The school features two functional boys’ toilets and one functional girls’ toilet, ensuring proper hygiene and sanitation facilities. To quench the thirst of its students, the school relies on hand pumps for its drinking water supply. However, the school does not have electricity, a key component for facilitating modern teaching methods.

Despite lacking electricity, P.V. TIBBA PANJAB GHAT utilizes computer-aided learning, showcasing its commitment to integrating technology into its curriculum. The school’s focus on education extends beyond the classroom, providing mid-day meals to its students.

While the school is managed by the Department of Education, it faces several challenges. The lack of a boundary wall, the absence of computers for teaching and learning, and the unavailability of ramps for disabled students highlight the need for improvement in its infrastructure and facilities.

The school’s dependence on a single male teacher further underscores the need for additional staff to provide comprehensive educational support. With only Hindi as the medium of instruction, P.V. TIBBA PANJAB GHAT may consider incorporating other languages to broaden its educational scope.

Despite these challenges, P.V. TIBBA PANJAB GHAT stands as a testament to the commitment of the local community to providing basic education for its children. By addressing its infrastructural and staff limitations, the school has the potential to become a beacon of quality education in the area.
