Established in 1998, the school caters to children in Grades 1 to 5 and operates as a co-educational institution. Its location in a rural area reflects the importance of providing basic education to children living in the countryside.

The school offers instruction in Hindi and features a total of 3 classrooms, all in good condition. These classrooms are supplemented by 2 additional rooms dedicated to non-teaching activities, further supporting a well-rounded learning environment.

P.S.KATAHI BAGAHI, despite its rural location, prioritizes accessibility and infrastructure. The school boasts a reliable electricity supply and features hand pumps as a functional source of drinking water.

In terms of facilities, the school has a separate room for the Head Master/Teacher and provides basic sanitation with one functional boys’ toilet and one functional girls’ toilet. While the school does not have a playground, it does provide midday meals, ensuring students’ basic needs are met.

Importantly, P.S.KATAHI BAGAHI demonstrates a commitment to inclusivity by having ramps for disabled children to easily access classrooms. It is noteworthy that the school does not have a library, but this may be due to resource constraints, a common challenge for rural schools in India.
