P.S. RAJANAGAR: A Rural Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

P.S. RAJANAGAR, a government-run primary school located in the rural area of SUAR block in RAMPUR district of Uttar Pradesh, offers education to students from Class 1 to Class 5. Established in 1965, the school is managed by the Department of Education and provides a co-educational environment for its students.

The school, despite its rural location, boasts several facilities designed to enhance the learning experience. A dedicated library houses 65 books, providing students with access to a wealth of knowledge. The school also has a playground for recreational activities and hand pumps to provide drinking water.

P.S. RAJANAGAR ensures a safe and hygienic environment for its students with functional boys and girls toilets. Despite the lack of electricity, the school has a government-owned building with two well-maintained classrooms.

The school’s academic approach focuses on Hindi as the medium of instruction, with three male teachers dedicated to delivering quality education. While there is no pre-primary section, the school provides mid-day meals, ensuring students have access to nutritious food while attending classes.

Though the school does not have computer-aided learning or a computer lab, it does have a dedicated room for the head teacher. The lack of a boundary wall, however, raises concerns about the school’s security and might require the implementation of appropriate measures to ensure the safety of the students.

The school’s absence of a ramp for disabled children indicates a need to address accessibility issues and provide a more inclusive learning environment for all students.

P.S. RAJANAGAR plays a vital role in the education landscape of the rural community it serves. While the school has achieved commendable progress, its efforts to further enhance the learning environment through improved infrastructure, technology, and accessibility could greatly benefit the students and ensure they receive the best possible education.
