MUNDRUMASKA PROJECT PS: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

Nestled in the heart of Odisha, MUNDRUMASKA PROJECT PS is a primary school serving the rural community. Established in 2014, the school offers education from Class 1 to Class 5, catering to the needs of young learners in the area. The school is managed by the Department of Education and operates as a co-educational institution, providing equal learning opportunities for both boys and girls.

The school building, though government-owned, lacks a boundary wall. However, it boasts essential facilities like a playground, a single classroom, and separate toilets for boys and girls. While the school does not have a computer lab or electricity connection, it does have ramps for disabled students, ensuring accessibility for all.

A key feature of MUNDRUMASKA PROJECT PS is its commitment to providing meals to students. These meals are prepared and served within the school premises, ensuring that students receive nutritious food while studying. The school also offers pre-primary education, with a dedicated teacher for this age group.

The medium of instruction at the school is Odia, allowing students to learn in their native language. The school boasts a dedicated team of one male teacher and one pre-primary teacher, totaling one teacher. While the school does not offer residential facilities, it remains committed to providing quality education to its students.

The school’s location in a rural area emphasizes its role in providing educational opportunities for children who may not have access to schools in more urban settings. The playground fosters physical activity and social interaction among students, while the lack of a library suggests the need for further development in this area.

Despite its limited resources, MUNDRUMASKA PROJECT PS serves as a beacon of hope for the local community. It provides a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow, paving the way for a brighter future. As the school continues to evolve, it holds the potential to become an even more valuable resource for the community, contributing to the overall development of the area through education.
