MPV 38 PUPS: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

Nestled in the heart of a rural community, MPV 38 PUPS (Primary with Upper Primary) stands as a beacon of education in Odisha. This government-run school, established in 1977, serves students from Class 1 to Class 8, offering a co-educational environment. With its code 21300101701, MPV 38 PUPS is a testament to the commitment to primary education in the region.

The school is equipped with four classrooms, providing adequate space for learning. The availability of a library stocked with 140 books offers students valuable resources beyond the regular curriculum. Ensuring a conducive learning environment, MPV 38 PUPS has invested in essential facilities like separate boys’ and girls’ toilets and ramps for accessibility for disabled students. The school also boasts a reliable source of drinking water through hand pumps.

However, while the school provides a foundation for basic education, some key facilities are yet to be implemented. The absence of a playground hinders the development of physical activity and recreation for the students. Furthermore, the lack of computer-aided learning limits access to digital resources that are crucial for today’s students.

Academically, MPV 38 PUPS focuses on delivering instruction in Odia, the primary language of the region. The school has a team of four dedicated teachers, including three male teachers and one female teacher, who strive to impart knowledge and skills to their students. While the school offers primary and upper primary education, it does not have a pre-primary section, nor does it provide residential facilities.

The school’s management lies with the Department of Education, ensuring adherence to government guidelines and standards. The school’s location in a rural area highlights the importance of accessible education for all. The absence of a pre-primary section may point to a need for expansion to cater to younger children in the community.

The school’s focus on providing a basic education in Odia, combined with its commitment to providing a safe and accessible environment, makes MPV 38 PUPS a valuable resource for the local community. As technology continues to evolve, the school’s lack of computer-aided learning and playground facilities presents an opportunity for further development. By incorporating these modern facilities, MPV 38 PUPS can further enhance its role in fostering well-rounded individuals prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.
