MPPS Poothikivalsa: A Rural Primary School in Andhra Pradesh

Nestled in the rural landscape of Andhra Pradesh, MPPS Poothikivalsa stands as a beacon of education for young minds. Located in the Poothikivalsa village, the school falls under the jurisdiction of the Poothikivalsa sub-district, the Narsaraopet district, and the Guntur state. Established in 1921, MPPS Poothikivalsa has been a vital part of the community, providing primary education for children from Class 1 to Class 5.

The school boasts a co-educational environment, welcoming both boys and girls to learn together. Its teaching staff comprises two teachers - one male and one female - dedicated to imparting knowledge in Telugu, the primary language of instruction. While the school does not offer pre-primary education, its focus remains on providing a strong foundation in basic education for young learners.

MPPS Poothikivalsa operates as a “Local body” managed school, reflecting the community’s commitment to education. However, the school currently lacks electricity and access to drinking water, highlighting the need for infrastructure improvements. Despite these challenges, the school remains a vital resource for the village, offering a crucial stepping stone for children seeking to expand their horizons.

Though MPPS Poothikivalsa lacks access to modern facilities like computer-aided learning, it strives to provide a quality education within its limitations. The school’s dedication to its students is evident in its rural location and the absence of any plans to shift to a new location. This commitment to serving the local community underscores the school’s importance to the village.

MPPS Poothikivalsa, despite its lack of advanced resources, serves as a valuable educational institution for the children of Poothikivalsa. The school’s dedication to its students, its commitment to its rural location, and the community’s involvement through the “Local body” management demonstrate its unwavering purpose - to provide quality primary education for the village’s children. The school’s future depends on the continued support of the community and the potential for infrastructure improvements, ensuring that MPPS Poothikivalsa remains a vital part of the village’s educational landscape.
