The school, established in 2008, boasts two classrooms and a library stocked with an impressive 147 books. While electricity remains unavailable, the school provides basic facilities like separate boys’ and girls’ toilets and a secure barbed wire fence.

KUMUTIMUNDA PROJECT P.S. serves as a vital resource for the local community, catering to students through a co-educational model. Instruction is conducted in Odia, making learning accessible to children from diverse backgrounds.

With a dedicated team of three teachers, including one head teacher, the school provides a conducive environment for learning.
