KRUSHNAPRIYAPUR P.S.: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

KRUSHNAPRIYAPUR P.S., a government-run primary school located in Odisha, caters to students from Class 1 to Class 5. Established in 2004, the school provides education in Odia and is situated in a rural area, serving the community with its basic educational needs.

The school boasts two classrooms, equipped with basic amenities like a library, a playground, and separate toilets for boys and girls. While the school does not have access to electricity or computer-aided learning, it maintains a safe environment with barbed wire fencing. The school’s library houses a collection of 60 books, and drinking water is provided through hand pumps.

KRUSHNAPRIYAPUR P.S. employs a team of two teachers - one male and one female. Both are dedicated to providing quality education to the students, with a focus on primary education (classes 1-5). The school operates as a co-educational institution, welcoming both boys and girls.

One of the key aspects of the school’s commitment to the students is the provision of meals. These meals are prepared and provided within the school premises, ensuring that the students have access to nutritious food while learning.

Interestingly, despite being a primary school, KRUSHNAPRIYAPUR P.S. is affiliated with an “Others” board for Class 10, suggesting a potential connection with alternative educational pathways. This could be an avenue for further exploration and understanding the school’s unique approach to education.

The school’s commitment to providing a safe and supportive learning environment is further evidenced by the presence of a playground, offering a space for physical activity and recreation. The library, though small, provides access to books, fostering a love for reading and learning.

The school’s lack of access to certain amenities, such as electricity and computer-aided learning, highlights the need for further development and support to bridge the gap and provide students with access to modern learning tools.

However, the presence of a dedicated team of teachers, provision of meals, and a safe environment ensures that the students at KRUSHNAPRIYAPUR P.S. receive quality primary education and develop a foundation for future learning.
