KOLTA BISUNPUR PRY. SCHOOL: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

KOLTA BISUNPUR PRY. SCHOOL is a government-run primary school located in the rural area of Odisha, India. Established in 1956, the school offers primary education from Class 1 to Class 5, with a focus on Odia as the instruction medium.

The school building, a testament to its long history, provides two classrooms for its students. With one boys’ toilet and one girls’ toilet, the school prioritizes basic hygiene facilities. The lack of computer-aided learning and electricity might pose a challenge in keeping up with modern educational trends, but the presence of a library with 316 books provides valuable resources for students.

The school, though lacking a playground, offers a hand pump for clean drinking water. Despite its limited resources, the school’s commitment to providing a conducive learning environment is evident in the presence of a dedicated library.

The school’s teaching staff consists of one male teacher and two female teachers, totaling three teachers. The school is managed by the Department of Education and boasts a strong commitment to education, with a focus on delivering quality primary education to students.

The school’s commitment to inclusivity is demonstrated through its co-educational environment. It caters to students from both rural and urban backgrounds, offering a platform for learning and social interaction. The absence of a pre-primary section, however, might limit the opportunities for younger children seeking early education.

With a focus on delivering a foundational education, the school plays a vital role in the community. Its presence in the rural area ensures access to education for children in the vicinity. The lack of ramps for disabled students might be an area for improvement, ensuring inclusivity for all children.

The school’s management and teachers play a critical role in shaping the future of its students. The presence of a library and dedicated teachers fosters a love for learning, empowering students with essential skills and knowledge.

Despite the challenges presented by limited resources, KOLTA BISUNPUR PRY. SCHOOL remains a beacon of hope for children in the community. Its commitment to education and its dedication to providing a conducive learning environment inspire generations of students.
