KANKRIMAL P.S. is a government-run primary school located in a rural area of Odisha, India. Established in 1986, the school offers education from Class 1 to Class 5, with a focus on Odia as the primary language of instruction. The school is co-educational and has a total of two teachers, all of whom are male.

While the school has a limited number of resources, it does boast a library stocked with 200 books and a hand pump for providing clean drinking water to students. The school also features two classrooms and separate toilets for boys and girls. However, it lacks computer-aided learning facilities, electricity, and a boundary wall.

Despite its rural setting, KANKRIMAL P.S. has achieved a significant milestone: it provides meals to its students, prepared and served within the school premises. This initiative ensures that children receive nutritious meals and are able to focus on their education without the burden of hunger.
