Established in 2005, the school provides education for students from Class 6 to Class 8, catering to both boys and girls. It operates under the Department of Education and is accessible via an all-weather road.

The school’s infrastructure includes three classrooms, all in good condition, and two additional rooms for non-teaching activities. A dedicated room serves as an office for the headmaster/teacher. The school is enclosed by a barbed wire fencing boundary wall, but lacks an electricity connection.

Despite these limitations, JHS.BAKSAPUR prioritizes the well-being of its students. Functional hand pumps provide access to drinking water, and separate boys and girls toilets are available for use. Although there’s no playground, the school boasts a library with 274 books, offering students access to learning resources.

JHS.BAKSAPUR employs a total of three teachers, including two male teachers and one female teacher. Hindi serves as the medium of instruction, fostering a strong sense of local identity and cultural understanding. The school operates on an academic calendar that begins in April, ensuring a smooth transition for students.

While lacking a pre-primary section, JHS.BAKSAPUR caters to the needs of its upper primary students. The school does not have ramps for disabled access to classrooms, reflecting a need for further infrastructure development to create a fully inclusive environment.

JHS.BAKSAPUR’s commitment to education is evident in its dedication to providing quality instruction, fostering a supportive learning environment, and ensuring the well-being of its students. As the school continues to grow, it is hoped that it will receive the necessary resources to overcome its challenges and create a more conducive learning environment for all.
