JHILIKIBEDA PROJ PS: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

JHILIKIBEDA PROJ PS, a government-run primary school in Odisha, serves the educational needs of students from Class 1 to Class 5. Located in a rural area, the school was established in 2006 and has a total of two classrooms.

The school provides a co-educational learning environment, catering to both boys and girls. The medium of instruction is Odia, ensuring that students are taught in their native language. The school’s curriculum focuses on primary education only, covering subjects from the first to fifth grade.

JHILIKIBEDA PROJ PS is managed by the Department of Education. The school boasts two male teachers who guide and educate the students. Although the school provides meals for its students, it lacks essential amenities like computer-aided learning facilities, electricity, a boundary wall, a library, a playground, and drinking water sources.

The school’s infrastructure lacks ramps for disabled students, highlighting a potential accessibility barrier. The absence of pre-primary sections indicates that the school primarily serves older primary students.

JHILIKIBEDA PROJ PS is a valuable resource for the local community, offering primary education to children in a rural setting. However, the lack of basic facilities poses challenges to the school’s overall development and student experience.

The school’s management could benefit from exploring opportunities to enhance its infrastructure and facilities. Investments in computer-aided learning, electricity, a boundary wall, and drinking water sources could improve the learning environment and provide students with access to crucial resources.

The lack of pre-primary sections may necessitate exploring the possibility of expanding the school’s offerings to cater to younger students as well. This expansion could contribute to a more holistic educational system within the community.

By addressing the existing infrastructure gaps and potentially expanding its offerings, JHILIKIBEDA PROJ PS could become a more robust educational institution, empowering students with the necessary tools and opportunities to thrive.
