The school is situated in a rural area and is accessible by road, regardless of the weather conditions. The academic year begins in April, and the school utilizes a Hindi medium of instruction.

Despite its rural location, GPS BADGAON boasts several amenities. The school building, owned by the government, comprises five classrooms in good condition and two additional rooms for non-teaching activities. A dedicated space is also available for the head teacher.

The school is equipped with a functional playground, a library stocked with 50 books, and drinking water provided by hand pumps. To ensure the well-being of students, the school has separate, functional toilets for boys and girls. While electricity is available, it is not currently functional.
