Gilosyas Public School: A Rural Primary School in Meerut

Gilosyas Public School, located in the Meerut Nagar block of Meerut district in Uttar Pradesh, is a private, co-educational primary school established in 2001. Situated in a rural area, the school provides education for students from class 1 to class 5, catering to the needs of the local community. The school operates under the management of a private, unaided entity, ensuring its independence and commitment to quality education.

The school building itself is a testament to the commitment to providing a conducive learning environment. The private structure boasts six well-maintained classrooms, designed to facilitate effective teaching and learning. Additionally, two rooms are dedicated to non-teaching activities, creating a space for extracurricular engagement and student development.

The school prioritizes student accessibility, with a functional hand pump providing clean drinking water. Furthermore, the school has invested in sanitation facilities, providing one functional boys’ toilet and one functional girls’ toilet. This ensures a safe and hygienic environment for all students.

Gilosyas Public School recognizes the importance of language in education. Hindi is the primary language of instruction, allowing students to learn and communicate effectively within their local community. The school is accessible throughout the year, with a road leading to its location, making it easily reachable for students and teachers.

Although the school does not have a library or a playground, it focuses on core academic subjects, offering instruction in Hindi. The lack of a library, unfortunately, means that the school does not have books for students to utilize. Additionally, the absence of a playground limits opportunities for physical activity and recreation.

Despite these limitations, the school stands as a beacon of educational opportunity in the rural area. The dedicated teachers, with three female teachers on staff, strive to provide quality education for the children in their care. Gilosyas Public School continues to play a vital role in empowering the next generation in the Meerut district, shaping young minds and fostering a brighter future for the community.
