The school building, constructed by the government, boasts two classrooms in good condition. These classrooms are supplemented by two additional rooms dedicated to non-teaching activities and a separate room for the headmaster/teacher. Notably, the school lacks a boundary wall and electric connection, presenting challenges for security and modern learning facilities.

However, EGS BARAI demonstrates a commitment to its students’ well-being by providing essential amenities. Clean and functional toilets are available for both boys and girls (one each), and the school boasts a playground for physical activity.

Furthermore, the school possesses a library with 50 books, offering students access to a diverse range of reading materials. The library serves as a valuable resource for enhancing literacy and fostering a love for reading.

While the school does not have computers, it does offer a mid-day meal program, provided by external sources, ensuring that students receive nutritious meals during the school day. The school also utilizes hand pumps as its primary source of drinking water, ensuring access to clean and safe water for students and staff.

The school’s commitment to education is further evident in its dedicated teaching staff. Two teachers, one male and one female, are responsible for delivering quality instruction to the students. Despite the absence of a computer lab or internet access, the school strives to provide a conducive learning environment for its pupils.

EGS BARAI, despite its limitations, stands as a testament to the importance of education in rural communities. By providing a basic educational foundation and fostering a supportive learning environment, the school plays a vital role in the development of the local community, shaping the future of its students.
