While its infrastructure is modest, it boasts essential facilities like classrooms, restrooms, a library, and electricity. The school building, constructed with pucca (solid) material, exhibits signs of wear and tear.

DAV Gurukul provides education in Odia, the primary language of the region. With a total of 9 teachers, including one male and eight female educators, the school offers a co-educational environment for students from Class 1 to Class 3. The school also offers a pre-primary section, making it accessible to even younger children.

The school’s commitment to providing quality education is evident in its well-stocked library. However, the lack of a playground and drinking water facilities necessitates further development. Moreover, the absence of ramps for students with disabilities highlights the need for accessibility improvements.

Despite these challenges, DAV Gurukul plays a crucial role in ensuring primary education in the rural community. Its dedicated staff and emphasis on Odia instruction contribute to the overall educational landscape of the region.
