BIDARPAKNA PS: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

Located in the heart of a rural community, BIDARPAKNA PS is a government-run primary school serving students from Class 1 to Class 5. This co-educational institution, established in 1982, offers instruction in Odia and caters to the educational needs of the local children.

The school boasts two classrooms, a pucca wall construction, and a well-maintained library with a collection of 35 books. The school environment is conducive to learning, with a male teaching staff of two dedicated teachers. However, the school lacks access to electricity and computer-aided learning tools, highlighting a need for further development.

While the school provides meals for its students, prepared on the school premises, it does not have access to drinking water. Furthermore, the school is not residential and is located in a rural area.

BIDARPAKNA PS operates under the Department of Education and is affiliated with “Others” board for Class 10. Despite its limitations, the school is committed to providing quality education to its students, fostering a learning environment that emphasizes the importance of Odia language and culture.

The school building itself consists of two classrooms, providing ample space for the students to learn. The presence of a library and a playground, although the latter is absent, further highlights the school’s focus on a comprehensive educational experience.

The school’s absence of a pre-primary section and reliance on traditional teaching methods highlight the need for modernizing its facilities and educational practices. However, the dedicated teachers strive to provide the best possible learning environment for their students, ensuring their development and academic success.

Despite the lack of modern amenities, the school’s commitment to its students and its dedication to providing quality education within its limited resources deserve recognition. With a supportive community and government initiatives, BIDARPAKNA PS has the potential to become a model of rural education in Odisha, empowering its students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the future.
