BAHADA PROJ. PS: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

Located in the state of Odisha, BAHADA PROJ. PS is a government-run primary school catering to students from Class 1 to Class 5. Established in 2013, the school serves the rural community and offers a co-educational environment.

A Focus on Odia Language Instruction

BAHADA PROJ. PS provides instruction in Odia, the official language of Odisha. With one male teacher, the school prioritizes quality education in the local language.

Basic Facilities for Students

While the school lacks advanced amenities like computers and a library, it provides basic facilities for its students. This includes separate boys’ and girls’ toilets, as well as a dedicated space for preparing and serving meals to the students. The school ensures a comfortable learning environment with a focus on basic needs.

No Playground or Drinking Water

However, the school lacks a playground for recreational activities and has no access to drinking water. This highlights a need for improvement in terms of providing a more complete and supportive learning environment for the students.

No Boundaries, No Ramps

The school does not have a boundary wall, which could pose safety concerns, and is not equipped with ramps for students with disabilities. These are crucial aspects for ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

A School with Potential for Growth

Despite the limitations, BAHADA PROJ. PS remains a valuable institution for the local community. Its commitment to providing primary education in Odia and ensuring basic facilities for its students makes it a potential focal point for educational development in the region.

Future Enhancements and Development

The school’s lack of certain amenities presents an opportunity for improvement. Incorporating a playground, providing drinking water, constructing a boundary wall, and installing ramps for students with disabilities would significantly enhance the learning experience and overall well-being of the students.

Strengthening the Educational Landscape

By addressing these needs, BAHADA PROJ. PS can evolve into a more comprehensive primary school, contributing to the growth and development of the local community and strengthening the educational landscape of Odisha.
