BADA ANLO UPS: A Rural Upper Primary School in Odisha

BADA ANLO UPS, with its unique code “21180701302,” is a private upper primary school located in a rural area in Odisha. The school, established in 1992, caters to students from Class 6 to Class 7, offering instruction in the Odia language. The school is co-educational, providing equal opportunities for both boys and girls.

The school’s infrastructure is modest, with only four classrooms available. While the school lacks computer-aided learning facilities and electricity, it does provide drinking water through hand pumps. The school walls are built with materials other than brick or concrete. Unfortunately, BADA ANLO UPS lacks a library, playground, and ramps for disabled students.

Despite these limitations, the school strives to provide quality education. The school has two teachers, both male, dedicated to guiding the students. The school is privately aided, indicating a commitment to improving the learning environment for its students.

BADA ANLO UPS follows the “Others” board curriculum for Class 10. This suggests that the school might be affiliated with a local or state-level board, rather than the national CBSE or ICSE boards.

One of the school’s notable features is the provision of meals. While the school does not offer a full-fledged hostel facility, meals are provided and prepared within the school premises. This initiative is significant, as it helps ensure that students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds have access to a nutritious meal during their school hours.

BADA ANLO UPS plays a vital role in the community, providing education to children in a remote rural area. Its dedication to providing basic education, including a meal program, highlights the importance of community-based schools in ensuring access to education for all children, regardless of their background.
