ZPHS MEDIKURTHI: A Rural Upper Primary and Secondary School in Telangana

Nestled in the rural landscape of Telangana, ZPHS MEDIKURTHI is a co-educational school offering education from Class 6 to Class 10. Established in 1964, this school plays a vital role in providing quality education to students in the region.

The school, identified by the code 28233200510, is managed by the local body and operates under the “Others” board for both Class 10 and Class 10+2. The medium of instruction is Telugu, making it accessible to the local community.

ZPHS MEDIKURTHI is staffed by a team of 11 dedicated teachers, comprising 9 male teachers and 2 female teachers. While the school does not offer pre-primary education, it provides a comprehensive upper primary and secondary curriculum.

Interestingly, despite being a rural school, ZPHS MEDIKURTHI does not have access to electricity or drinking water. This presents a challenge for the school, highlighting the need for infrastructure improvements to create a conducive learning environment.

The lack of computer-aided learning facilities also suggests a potential area for development. However, the school’s commitment to providing education in a rural setting is commendable.

The school’s “Others” board for Class 10 and Class 10+2 suggests a focus on providing students with a diverse range of educational options. The presence of both male and female teachers ensures a balanced learning environment, fostering inclusivity and gender equality.

The absence of a head teacher listed in the school’s data indicates a possible administrative oversight that needs attention. However, the school’s dedication to providing quality education to students in the rural community is evident.

ZPHS MEDIKURTHI serves as a vital educational hub for the surrounding areas, offering students a chance to learn and grow. While the school faces certain challenges related to infrastructure, its commitment to education and its dedication to providing a diverse learning experience make it a valuable asset to the community.
