ZPHS KANDISA: A Rural Upper Primary and Secondary School in Andhra Pradesh

Nestled in the rural heart of Andhra Pradesh, ZPHS KANDISA stands as a beacon of education for the local community. Situated in the Kandisa village, under the jurisdiction of the district, this co-educational school provides quality education to students from Class 6 to Class 10. Established in 2001, the school operates under the management of the local body and serves as a vital educational resource for the surrounding area.

ZPHS KANDISA is a government-run institution with a dedicated team of teachers working towards providing a well-rounded education to its students. Currently, the school boasts a faculty of nine teachers, comprising five male and four female educators. These teachers are committed to delivering instruction in Telugu, the primary language of instruction in the school. While the school does not offer pre-primary education, it provides a strong foundation for students entering the upper primary and secondary levels.

The curriculum at ZPHS KANDISA follows the State Board syllabus for Class 10, ensuring students are prepared for their secondary education. The school also caters to students pursuing higher education, with the Class 10+2 program following a different board. However, the school does not offer computer-aided learning or electricity facilities, highlighting the need for further development and resources.

Despite the lack of modern amenities, ZPHS KANDISA strives to provide its students with the best possible learning environment. The school operates within a rural setting and does not offer residential facilities. However, it provides access to essential amenities such as drinking water, although the specific details of the water source are not readily available.

ZPHS KANDISA plays a critical role in the local community, empowering students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. While facing challenges in terms of resources and infrastructure, the school, along with its dedicated teachers, continues to provide valuable education to the students of Kandisa village and the surrounding area. The school’s commitment to providing quality education, despite the limitations, is a testament to the importance of education in shaping the future of rural communities.
