The school was established in 2003 and is managed by the Department of Education. With a focus on providing quality education, U.P.S. CHHATAUNA offers a co-educational learning environment, boasting a total of 4 teachers, including 3 male teachers and 1 female teacher.

The school building features five classrooms, along with essential amenities such as separate toilets for boys and girls and a well-stocked library containing 190 books. Students have access to a playground for physical activities and a source of drinking water through hand pumps. However, the school currently lacks computer-aided learning facilities, and while electricity is available, it is not functional at this time.

U.P.S. CHHATAUNA provides a vital educational service to the local community, with the instruction medium being Hindi.
