TRUTIYAPADA P S: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

TRUTIYAPADA P S, located in Odisha, is a government-run primary school serving students from Class 1 to Class 5. Established in 1987, this co-educational institution provides education in Odia and boasts a library with over 314 books. Despite the absence of electricity and computer-aided learning facilities, TRUTIYAPADA P S strives to offer quality education to its students.

The school building, partially walled, houses two classrooms, one boys’ toilet, and one girls’ toilet. While there is no playground, students have access to drinking water through hand pumps. The school also prioritizes inclusivity, providing ramps for disabled students.

TRUTIYAPADA P S employs two teachers, both male, who provide instruction in Odia. Interestingly, despite being a primary school, the institution also offers meals prepared on-site. This emphasizes the school’s dedication to providing a holistic learning environment for its students.

The school’s management is entrusted to the Department of Education, reflecting its commitment to offering accessible and quality education to the rural community. TRUTIYAPADA P S’s location in a rural area further highlights its importance as a vital center for learning and development.

Although the school lacks some modern amenities like electricity and computer facilities, its commitment to providing basic education in Odia, along with access to books, drinking water, and accessible facilities, makes it a valuable asset to the community. The availability of a library and meal services demonstrates the school’s dedication to providing a well-rounded educational experience.

The absence of pre-primary education and a playground, however, indicate the school’s limitations. The presence of ramps for disabled students and the availability of meals prepared on-site are positive aspects that demonstrate the school’s commitment to inclusivity and student well-being.

TRUTIYAPADA P S stands as a testament to the commitment of the government and local community to provide quality education to rural children. Its dedication to providing basic education, along with essential resources, makes it an integral part of the local community. Despite its limitations, TRUTIYAPADA P S plays a vital role in shaping the future of the students it serves.
