Nestled in the heart of Odisha, TIKARAPADA (A) PS is a government-run primary school catering to students from Class 1 to Class 5. The school, established in 1976, serves a rural community and offers a co-educational environment for its students. It boasts four classrooms and provides basic facilities for its students, including separate toilets for boys and girls, a library with 22 books, and access to drinking water through hand pumps.

The school operates solely as a primary school, offering instruction in the Odia language. The curriculum focuses on providing a strong foundation in basic education for young learners. The school is led by a dedicated team of two teachers - one male and one female. The school’s management is overseen by the Department of Education, ensuring adherence to educational standards and promoting quality learning experiences for its students.

While the school offers a fundamental educational experience, it lacks some modern amenities. For example, the school does not have access to electricity or computer-aided learning facilities. Furthermore, there are no ramps for disabled students, and the school does not offer pre-primary sections.

Despite the absence of certain amenities, TIKARAPADA (A) PS plays a crucial role in the local community. The school provides a vital educational foundation for young children, equipping them with essential knowledge and skills for their future. The school’s commitment to providing a basic education, along with its efforts to create a safe and supportive learning environment, makes it an integral part of the rural community it serves.

The school’s location within a rural area highlights the need for further development and resource allocation. Expanding access to electricity, incorporating computer-aided learning, and improving accessibility for students with disabilities could significantly enhance the school’s offerings and educational experience.

TIKARAPADA (A) PS stands as a testament to the dedication of teachers and the importance of primary education. It demonstrates the vital role that schools play in fostering a brighter future for rural communities. As the school continues to educate and empower the children of Odisha, it remains a beacon of hope and opportunity for the next generation.
