The school building is a testament to its rural setting, constructed with hedges for its walls. Despite this, it boasts a well-equipped environment with four classrooms, one boys’ toilet, and one girls’ toilet, ensuring a basic level of sanitation.

TENTULA PRY. is primarily focused on primary education, offering classes from the first grade to the fifth grade. Instruction is solely in Odia, catering to the linguistic needs of the community. The school is co-educational, welcoming both boys and girls to learn and grow together.

The school, established in 1967, has a strong emphasis on learning. Though not equipped with computer-aided learning or electricity, it does have a library with a remarkable collection of 250 books, fostering a love for reading among students.

To ensure students’ well-being, the school provides drinking water through hand pumps and ramps for accessibility for students with disabilities. The school’s commitment to education is further demonstrated by its two dedicated teachers, including one head teacher, ANJULATA DAS.

A unique feature of TENTULA PRY. is its provision of meals prepared and served within the school premises. This program ensures students receive a nutritious meal during school hours, aiding in their overall well-being and academic performance.

Though the school does not have a playground, its location in a rural setting offers ample space for outdoor activities. The absence of pre-primary classes and a lack of access to electricity highlight potential areas for improvement in the future.

TENTULA PRY. stands as a beacon of education in the rural community, striving to provide quality primary education. Its commitment to its students, coupled with its dedicated teachers, creates a conducive learning environment for the young minds in its care. While challenges exist, the school’s dedication to fostering a love of learning remains its driving force.
