The school is situated in a rural area and is classified as a co-educational institution, meaning it provides education for both boys and girls.

The school boasts a library with a collection of 45 books, providing students with access to reading materials. The school has five classrooms, two toilets for girls, and one for boys. Interestingly, the school does not have a boundary wall, electricity, or a playground, making it a simple and basic learning environment.

SUNAPOSI PS emphasizes Odia as the instruction medium, ensuring that students receive education in their native language. The school employs two teachers - one male and one female. A head teacher, RAMAKANTA DAS, leads the school, providing guidance and direction to the staff and students.

The school does not offer pre-primary education, and it is not a residential school. While the school does not have computers for computer-aided learning, it provides meals for its students, prepared and served within the school premises. The school lacks drinking water facilities and ramps for students with disabilities.

SUNAPOSI PS, despite its limited resources, plays a crucial role in providing education to students in a rural area. The school’s commitment to Odia instruction and its focus on basic learning principles contribute to the development of its students. The school’s absence of certain amenities, such as electricity and computer facilities, highlights the need for further development and improvement in rural education infrastructure.

The school’s management, under the Department of Education, works to provide a basic and foundational education for its students. SUNAPOSI PS serves as an example of a rural primary school in India, showcasing the challenges and opportunities that exist in providing quality education to children in remote areas.
