SATHAVAHANA JR.COLLEGE , HARIPURAM: A Rural Co-educational Junior College in Andhra Pradesh

SATHAVAHANA JR.COLLEGE , HARIPURAM, located in the rural area of MANDASA block in SRIKAKULAM district of ANDHRA PRADESH, is a private unaided institution established in 2002. This co-educational junior college caters to students from Class 11 to Class 12, offering a comprehensive education in a rural setting.

The school’s academic curriculum is based on the State Board for Class 10+2, with Telugu as the medium of instruction. The school’s commitment to providing quality education is evident in its well-maintained classrooms, although the number of classrooms available is limited.

The school emphasizes a holistic approach to learning, recognizing the importance of extracurricular activities. While the school lacks a playground and library, it does have additional rooms for non-teaching activities and a dedicated space for the headmaster/teacher.

Despite being located in a rural area, the school is accessible by all-weather roads, ensuring easy access for students and faculty. The school’s academic session commences in April, aligning with the standard academic calendar.

The school’s infrastructure requires further development, with limited facilities for students and staff. The lack of a playground, library, and computers for teaching and learning purposes is a significant drawback that could hinder student engagement and academic performance.

Furthermore, the absence of electricity and drinking water facilities raises concerns about the overall learning environment and student well-being. The lack of ramps for disabled children also highlights the need for increased accessibility within the school premises.

While the school offers a valuable educational opportunity for students in the area, its infrastructure limitations require immediate attention and improvement. Investing in essential facilities and resources will ensure that SATHAVAHANA JR.COLLEGE , HARIPURAM continues to provide a conducive and enriching learning experience for its students.

The school’s dedication to providing quality education in a rural setting is commendable. However, addressing the infrastructure deficiencies is paramount to ensure the long-term sustainability and success of this institution.
