A Focus on Upper Primary Education:

SASWAT UPS caters exclusively to students in the upper primary grades (6-8). This means it plays a crucial role in providing quality education to students transitioning to higher secondary levels.

Academic Details and Facilities:

The school boasts two dedicated male teachers, who deliver instruction in Odia, the primary language of instruction. Despite being an upper primary school, SASWAT UPS offers no pre-primary sections.

The school has three classrooms, along with separate boys’ and girls’ toilets. A playground is available for recreational activities, while students have access to drinking water from hand pumps.

Limited Resources and Technology:

SASWAT UPS currently lacks a library, computer-aided learning resources, and electricity. The school is also not equipped with a boundary wall or ramps for disabled students.

Management and Location:

SASWAT UPS is managed by the private aided sector, highlighting its commitment to providing educational opportunities in the community. The school’s rural location underlines its significance in serving the educational needs of children in under-developed areas.

A Vital Role in Rural Education:

SASWAT UPS, despite its limited resources, is a testament to the dedication towards providing education in rural areas. Its focus on upper primary education, coupled with its co-educational approach, ensures that students in the community have access to quality learning opportunities.

Opportunities for Growth and Development:

The school’s lack of certain facilities, such as a library, computer labs, and electricity, highlights the need for investment and development. These resources would significantly enhance the learning experience for students and enable them to engage with modern teaching methodologies.

A Call to Action:
