SAHADAPUT PROJECT PS: A Primary School Serving the Rural Community

SAHADAPUT PROJECT PS, a government-run primary school, is located in the rural area of district in state. Established in 2007, the school serves a local community, catering to students from Class 1 to Class 5.

The school offers instruction in Odia and has two male teachers dedicated to providing quality education. With two classrooms, one boy’s toilet, and one girl’s toilet, the school strives to provide a basic learning environment for its students.

The school operates as a co-educational institution, welcoming both boys and girls. The curriculum focuses on primary education, with the school following the Others board for Class 10. Meals are provided and prepared on-site, ensuring that students have access to nutritious meals while attending school.

Despite its rural location, SAHADAPUT PROJECT PS lacks certain amenities that are crucial for a well-equipped school. For example, there is no computer-aided learning facility available, and the school does not have electricity. Furthermore, the school lacks a proper boundary wall and a library. Additionally, there is no playground for physical activities and the school does not have ramps for students with disabilities.

The primary source of drinking water is through hand pumps. While this provides access to water, it might not always be the most reliable or hygienic source, especially during dry seasons.

The absence of certain facilities highlights the need for improvements and investments in SAHADAPUT PROJECT PS. Providing computer access, electricity, and other basic facilities can greatly enhance the learning experience for students and equip them with the necessary skills for the future.

The school’s management, the Department of Education, plays a vital role in addressing these needs and ensuring that SAHADAPUT PROJECT PS continues to provide quality education to the children in the rural community. As a primary school, it serves as a foundation for future learning and development. By providing a supportive and equipped learning environment, SAHADAPUT PROJECT PS can empower students and contribute to the growth and well-being of the community it serves.
