Ringising P.S: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

Nestled in the rural landscape of Odisha, Ringising P.S stands as a beacon of education for young minds. Established in 1959, this primary school caters to students from Class 1 to Class 5, offering a co-educational environment.

The school, managed by the Department of Education, boasts a dedicated team of three teachers – two males and one female – who impart knowledge in Odia. The school building, a government facility, houses two classrooms, equipped with basic amenities like a library and toilets for both boys and girls.

The library, a valuable resource for students, houses an impressive collection of 350 books, providing access to a world of knowledge beyond the classroom. The school prioritizes student well-being, ensuring a nutritious meal is provided and prepared on the premises.

While the school lacks facilities such as computer-aided learning, electricity, and a boundary wall, it strives to provide a safe and conducive learning environment. The absence of a playground and ramps for disabled students highlights the need for future infrastructure development.

Ringising P.S., despite its limitations, plays a crucial role in the education of rural children. The school’s commitment to providing quality education through dedicated teachers and a well-stocked library reflects its dedication to fostering a love for learning.

The availability of drinking water through hand pumps ensures students have access to safe and clean water throughout the day. While the school’s “Others” categorization for its board for Class 10 and 10+2 suggests a potential for further development, it remains a vital educational institution in the community.

The school’s commitment to providing a meal for its students is a testament to its dedication to the holistic development of its students. This ensures not only access to knowledge but also to essential nutrition, allowing students to focus on learning without facing hunger.

Ringising P.S. is a testament to the power of education in rural India. While facing challenges, the school’s dedication to its students, its teachers’ commitment to quality education, and its essential resources make it a valuable asset to the community.
