PUJARIGUDA PS: A Rural Primary School in Odisha

PUJARIGUDA PS is a government-run primary school located in Odisha, India. Established in 1998, the school caters to students from Class 1 to Class 5, providing education in Odia as the medium of instruction.

The school operates in a rural setting and has a total of three teachers, including two male teachers and one female teacher. It is a co-educational institution, welcoming both boys and girls. While the school offers a library with a collection of 115 books, it lacks facilities like computer-aided learning, electricity, a boundary wall, and a playground.

One of the key highlights of PUJARIGUDA PS is the provision of meals for students. The meals are prepared and provided within the school premises, ensuring that children have access to nutritious food during their studies. The school also boasts a drinking water facility in the form of hand pumps, catering to the students’ needs.

PUJARIGUDA PS follows the curriculum of the “Others” board for both Class 10 and Class 10+2. Despite lacking some modern amenities, the school strives to offer a quality education to the children of the surrounding rural community.

While the school lacks ramps for disabled students, it emphasizes the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment for all learners. The school administration acknowledges the need for improvement in infrastructure and facilities and is committed to addressing these gaps in the future.

PUJARIGUDA PS serves as a vital educational hub for the community, playing a crucial role in shaping young minds and providing them with foundational knowledge and skills.

The school’s commitment to providing quality education in a rural setting is commendable, particularly considering the limitations in resources. The dedicated teachers and the provision of meals highlight the school’s focus on holistic development and well-being of its students.

With the support of the local community and government initiatives, PUJARIGUDA PS can further strengthen its infrastructure and resources to enhance the learning environment for its students. The school’s dedication to offering a quality education in a rural setting serves as an inspiration for similar institutions across the country.
