PS NAGLA BATTISA: A Rural Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

PS NAGLA BATTISA, a government-run primary school, stands in the heart of the rural landscape in Uttar Pradesh, serving the educational needs of children in the local community. Established in 2004, the school boasts a dedicated team of teachers committed to providing quality education to its students.

The school’s location in the SASNI block of HATHRAS district makes it easily accessible to students from surrounding villages. The building, constructed with durable pucca walls, houses two classrooms, ensuring sufficient space for learning activities. Despite the presence of electrical wiring, it currently lacks a functional connection, impacting some learning resources.

PS NAGLA BATTISA caters to students in Grades 1 to 5, offering a comprehensive primary education. The school’s curriculum emphasizes Hindi as the primary language of instruction, fostering a strong foundation in the native tongue.

While the school does not offer a pre-primary section, it provides a co-educational learning environment, welcoming both boys and girls. The school’s dedication to inclusivity extends to its accessibility features, with ramps readily available for disabled students.

The school’s commitment to student well-being is evident in the provision of clean drinking water through hand pumps, ensuring access to safe and essential resources. Furthermore, the school has dedicated separate toilets for boys and girls, promoting hygiene and sanitation.

While a playground provides a space for physical activity and recreation, the school currently lacks a library and its associated resources.

The school’s teaching staff comprises three dedicated educators, including two male teachers and one female teacher, all committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.

PS NAGLA BATTISA, despite its limited resources, serves as a vital center for primary education in the region. Its dedicated teachers, supportive facilities, and focus on inclusivity ensure that students receive a solid foundation for their future learning journeys. As a government-managed institution, the school plays a crucial role in promoting equitable access to education, empowering young minds and contributing to the overall development of the community.
