PS MOHARI: A Primary School in Rural Uttar Pradesh

PS MOHARI, located in the KADAURA block of JALAUN district in Uttar Pradesh, is a government-run primary school that has been serving the community since 1989. Situated in a rural area, the school provides education for students from Class 1 to Class 5, offering a co-educational environment for learning.

The school building, constructed by the government, houses three classrooms in good condition, ensuring adequate space for instruction. The school also boasts a library, stocked with 84 books, and a playground for students to enjoy during breaks.

A Focus on Learning:

PS MOHARI utilizes Hindi as the medium of instruction, catering to the local language preference. While the school doesn’t have a pre-primary section or a computer aided learning lab, it does offer a crucial service – midday meals, prepared and provided on the school premises.

Infrastructure for Learning:

The school’s infrastructure includes a functional hand pump, providing clean drinking water for students and staff. Furthermore, it boasts separate boys’ and girls’ toilets, ensuring basic sanitation facilities for all.

Teacher Strength and Support:

The school is led by a dedicated head teacher, SUBODHNI DEVI PATEL, and supported by a team of two male teachers. Though the school does not have any female teachers, its commitment to providing a safe and conducive learning environment for all students is evident.

Opportunities for Improvement:

While PS MOHARI has made significant strides in providing basic educational facilities, there are areas for potential improvement. The lack of a functional electricity connection could hinder learning opportunities, especially in the evening. Additionally, the absence of computers and a computer-aided learning lab limits access to modern technology and digital resources, which are increasingly crucial in today’s education system.

A Beacon of Hope:

Despite these limitations, PS MOHARI plays a vital role in the local community, providing essential education to young minds. It serves as a testament to the dedication of its teachers and staff who strive to nurture the potential of every child. As the school continues to evolve, the implementation of necessary improvements will contribute to a brighter future for its students.
