PS MOHANPUR: A Rural Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

Nestled in the village of Mohanpur, within the district of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, PS MOHANPUR is a government-run primary school catering to students from Class 1 to Class 5. Established in 2005, the school serves a rural community, providing access to education for children within the vicinity.

The school boasts a basic infrastructure with two classrooms, two boys’ toilets, and two girls’ toilets. While it lacks access to electricity and computer-aided learning facilities, it maintains a pucca wall and provides access to drinking water through hand pumps. The school also has a playground for physical activity and ramps for accessibility for disabled students.

PS MOHANPUR offers instruction in Hindi and operates as a co-educational institution. The school is managed by the Department of Education and relies on the expertise of two teachers, one male and one female, led by head teacher SRI SITA RAM. These teachers are instrumental in providing quality education to the students.

The school’s academic focus remains on primary education (Class 1 to Class 5). Notably, the school does not offer pre-primary sections. While the school provides meals to the students, it is prepared and provided within the school premises.

Interestingly, PS MOHANPUR has a unique characteristic: it is a primary school that considers itself as “Others” for board-related affiliations, both for Class 10 and Class 10+2. This suggests a possible association with a local or alternative board system rather than the national boards like CBSE or ICSE.

Despite its limited resources, PS MOHANPUR plays a vital role in the community, providing basic education to children in a rural setting. The school’s dedication to providing a conducive learning environment and its commitment to accessibility for all students make it a valuable institution for the local community.

Further information about the school’s performance, specific curriculum, and future plans could be valuable for parents and community members seeking to understand the school’s impact and potential.
