PS DLA KA PURUA: A Glimpse into Rural Education in Amethi

PS DLA KA PURUA, a primary school located in the SANGRAMPUR block of AMETHI CSM NAGAR district in Uttar Pradesh, stands as a testament to the commitment to education in rural India. Established in 2011, the school is managed by the Department of Education and caters to students from Class 1 to Class 5.

The school boasts a government building with 2 well-maintained classrooms, ensuring a conducive learning environment for its students. Despite the lack of electricity, the school provides essential facilities like functional boys and girls toilets, hand pumps for drinking water, and a pucca boundary wall, albeit in a slightly dilapidated condition.

PS DLA KA PURUA, being a co-educational institution, fosters an inclusive environment. Hindi serves as the primary language of instruction, aligning with the local community’s needs. The school offers mid-day meals, prepared and served within its premises, ensuring that students receive adequate nourishment.

The school’s commitment to quality education is further evident in its teaching staff. The school is staffed by 2 male teachers, dedicated to imparting knowledge and nurturing young minds. Notably, the school does not have a pre-primary section or a computer-aided learning lab. This highlights the need for further development in these areas to enhance the educational experience for students.

Despite lacking a playground and a library, the school’s focus on providing a safe and functional environment for learning is commendable. The absence of a computer lab and library emphasizes the need for additional resources to enhance students’ access to technology and educational materials.

While the school may face challenges in certain areas, its dedication to providing basic education to the children of the village is commendable. With further investments in resources and infrastructure, PS DLA KA PURUA can become a beacon of learning and growth for the local community.

This primary school serves as a vital educational hub for the children of the village. It provides a foundation for learning and empowers students with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of modern life. By addressing its resource needs, PS DLA KA PURUA can continue to play a significant role in shaping the future of the young minds it serves.
