PRY. SCH. SAMUHA: A Rural School in Uttar Pradesh

Nestled in the BAWAN block of HARDOI district in Uttar Pradesh, PRY. SCH. SAMUHA is a government-run primary school established in 1998. Serving a rural community, this co-educational institution caters to students from Class 1 to Class 5, providing them with a foundational education. The school operates with a focus on Hindi as the medium of instruction, ensuring a comfortable learning environment for local children.

The school building, while constructed of pucca material, requires some repairs. Despite this, it boasts six well-maintained classrooms, providing ample space for students to learn. Additionally, two separate rooms are dedicated to non-teaching activities, ensuring a balanced environment for both academic and recreational pursuits.

While the school doesn’t have access to functional electricity, it is equipped with hand pumps for clean drinking water. This essential resource ensures students’ health and well-being throughout the school day. The school prioritizes sanitation with one functional boys’ toilet and one functional girls’ toilet, promoting hygiene and comfort for its students.

PRY. SCH. SAMUHA strives to foster a comprehensive learning environment. The school is fortunate to have a library, stocked with 50 books, offering students the opportunity to expand their knowledge beyond the classroom. However, the school lacks a playground, which could serve as a valuable space for physical activity and recreation.

The school’s commitment to education is evident in its dedicated staff. Two teachers, including one male and one female teacher, work together to provide quality instruction to students. Their efforts are guided by a Head Teacher, SATYENDRA PAL SINGH, who ensures the smooth functioning of the school. Despite not having any computers or a dedicated computer-aided learning lab, the school provides a mid-day meal program, ensuring students receive the necessary nourishment to focus on their studies.

While the school lacks some amenities, its dedication to providing a fundamental education to children in the rural community shines through. The school’s commitment to fostering a safe, clean, and learning-focused environment makes it a valuable asset to its community.
