PRY. SCH. GOLAGANJ: A Rural Primary School in Uttar Pradesh

Located in the BHARAWAN block of HARDOI district in Uttar Pradesh, PRY. SCH. GOLAGANJ is a primary school offering education from Class 1 to Class 5. Established in 1964, this co-educational institution is managed by the Department of Education and serves the rural community.

The school utilizes a Rent Free Building and boasts 5 classrooms in good condition. Additionally, it features 2 rooms dedicated to non-teaching activities and a separate room for the Head Master/Teacher. While the school does not have a boundary wall, it offers a playground and a library stocked with 90 books.

PRY. SCH. GOLAGANJ promotes a strong sense of community. The school provides mid-day meals for students, ensuring they receive nourishment alongside their education. The school utilizes hand pumps as the source of drinking water, ensuring access to clean water for the students.

In terms of infrastructure, the school features a functional boys’ toilet and a girls’ toilet, promoting hygiene and sanitation for all students. However, the school does not have access to electricity, and the lack of a boundary wall poses potential security concerns.

The school’s dedication to providing quality education is evident in its commitment to Hindi as the medium of instruction. It offers a safe and supportive environment for students to learn and grow. However, the school does not have any computers or a computer aided learning lab.

Furthermore, the school’s infrastructure is lacking in some areas. There are no ramps for disabled children to access classrooms, which could hinder accessibility for students with disabilities. Despite the presence of a library, the absence of computers limits students’ access to technology and digital learning resources.

While PRY. SCH. GOLAGANJ offers a fundamental education to the rural community, its lack of certain amenities and technological resources highlights the need for further development and investment. The school’s administration and local authorities could work collaboratively to improve infrastructure, enhance technology access, and implement accessibility measures to create a more inclusive and enriching learning environment for all students.
